I have never been as thankful for cell phones as I am right now. My family and I have been texting and Facetiming more than we ever have. I am not a huge fan of Facetiming some of the angles are awful. LOL

Facebook has also been helpful to see what the extended family is up to and how they are dealing with everything. I have never lived near my biological family and I am sure you have picked up by now I have several friends that have earned in my heart the spot of family. We are also texting and messaging more than usual.

I have text or spoken with my “family” every day during this quarantine. Checking in to see how each other is doing. Sending goofy and sometimes inappropriate memes that are probably only funny to us.

I have had several pleasantly surprising text or messages of support. New people finding their way into my heart and my life. My “family” grows daily. I know that things will slow down after all is said and done but I sure do hope that this new group of people that I have let in stay around for awhile.

I know I have said it before but if there is someone in your life that is special to you, let them know, expand your family. Its easier than labor!
