Staying Sane

Hey guys! I just wanted to take a moment and make sure everyone is doing well. I know these are strange times and self-care and care for your fellow men are at an all-time high. I have never experienced anything quite like this situation in my lifetime.

I don’t want to spend any time pointing fingers I do not know enough about any of this to have an opinion that I can back up intelligently. I just want to encourage everyone to take care of themselves. But I do have one question why or why do we need to tell adults to wash their hands? Nasty!

For me, taking care of myself is turning off the televisions. I can not listen to the news all day it makes me little nuts. I am listening to a lot of music while I work. I addition I just heard that the Hallmark Channel is going to play Christmas movies…yeah I love those! Corny but true. We also have a ton of snacks in the house so I am doing my daily workout too. I am too frugal to need to have a shopping day when this is over.

I would love to hear what you are up to during this crazy time. How are you staying sane in an insane moment in time? I look forward to your answers.

Listening to KLove, s great Christian station. I am reading, since I am on spread break. I as also learning new skills to teach remotely for the next 5 weeks or more. Of course I am washing my hands about 20 times a day, as always since I teach first graders.

That’s great Sheri! And learning a new skill too is a positive way to spend your time. I hope Michael is doing well!

  2. Sewing, cleaning, laundry, FB, reading, talking on the phone, cooking, pretty much what I was doing before.
